Postby clee » Fri Jun 13, 2008 12:43 pm

After much searching I've found a source for BGA head gaskets and head sets .These are the correct thickness for the Turbo and you could use them on the Atmo no probs .They are very good quality .I can't say how long these will be around but they are like rocking horse shite .I can split them up if required or you can buy the whole kit which is ....

LH Head gasket £30
RH Head gasket £30
LH Rocker gasket £3.50
RH Rocker gasket £3.50
Timing Cover ' V ' Gasket set £4.50
Timing Cover Crank Seal £3.50
Stem Seals Set , Nylon type £15
Inlet Manifold O-rings x 6 £5
Exhaust Manifold Gaskets x 6 £10
Atmo exhaust pipe gaskets x 2 £2
Throttle body gasket £1
Camshaft gaskets and O seals £2.50
Dizzy gasket £1
Dizzy case large O seal £0.50
Thermostat grooved seal £0.50

Various copper washers ,O rings and some other gaskets that are for Volvo motors but may come in handy .

The whole set I can do for £95 delivered if I get half a dozen takers .

Z7X right rocker cover is longer and they didn't gasket them when new, just gunge.

I imagine Renault will still have Z7X gaskets as there isn't anything like the demand as there is for the 91mm heads which are common to all the Volvo lumps (and they tend to do intergalactic mileages).

Martin,
Had mine off recently- they were gasketed AND gunged.....didn't look like it had been off before.
Fortunately Espace's use the same engine so spare gaskets are available from you "friendly" local motor factor, but I'm not sure about using an Espace head gasket on a blown engine. Might work, but its a lot of work if it goes again...
