Anti roll bar bushes

Postby neil-gta » Thu Jun 26, 2008 5:12 pm

Does anyone know where I can get 2 rear anti roll bar bushes as Renault say they don't have any. I've tried Simon Autos too but they don't have any in stock. Kind of desperate as they've both split. :(

I have a pair on a certain A610 rear subframe sitting outside my shop. You'd be welcome to the entire rear bar (which would save you from a very annoying job).

Alternatively, check if Renault have the complete rear bar and bush assembly for an A610 - they did when I discovered the bushes had been discontinued, and it wasn't daft expensive.

Do you mean the ones on the end of the bar or the ones that hold it down under the clamps?

I have both types new.

Will work it out. You also need 2 special washers and two spring clips.

I thought this was an engine out job to change the Anti Roll Bar?

Clee very kindly helped to do mine last year with the bar in situe, not for the faint hearted is all I'll say

Sorry to raise this old post but my atmo went off the road a few months after this and I've only just started using it again and realised this really needs sorted now.

The bar on mine is completely separated from the wishbone so I reckon I need all bushes and connections or a second hand bar with them all on it in fair condition. Waiting to hear if Mr Dell can still get them or not and I'm gonna contact Renault re the A610 bar but just wondered if anyone could help......again

Thanks

I've got a bar with good bushes I think .Will have to check as it's still on the subframe .
You can change the bushes in situ ,not sure about changing the whole bar as I've never tried it .

A610 bar with bushes no longer available.

However... seems GTA one may be, so have just trial ordered one for Simon Scott. Will let you know if it arrives!

I'm pretty sure I have a pair of new bushes for where the bar mounts on to the subframe if anyone wants them.

If you should decide to change the roll bar it will be a complete 'engine out' job, as the bar is sandwiched between the engine and the subframe.

Do you think it would come out if the engine was just lifted off the mounts ?
