Of course it's fine for you to bring your son.

Yes 10am at the Plough in St Asaph, see you there!

HOW WRONG COULD I BE..... :?: :!: Header tank has an inch split in it  tried repairing last night but the fast setting arraldite had already let go by the time I covered 6 miles. I have Mr Sage on the hunt for another tank, however, if worst comes to worst I will poach the tank off the Quadra which is sulking over its gearbox   and buried in a garage so that wont be fun!!!

I will be there by hook or by header tank.

Your joking!  Shame you missed it.

Really enjoyed the day. Good to meet a couple of new faces and thanks to Martin and Andrew for organising it and all the effort you put in. Sorry we didn't stay for the evening meal but it was getting on and we needed to head back home. Pity the weather turned bad later in the afternoon. We drove along some really scenic roads but you couldn't see any of it for the rain! Hope everyone made it home ok. How did Dave get on with his puncture? Did you have to limp all the way home on the space saver?

Here (click me) are some pics I took on the day.

We should do something similar again sometime. Cheers guys! :D

Wales Alpine tour

Postby Miles » Sun Aug 17, 2008 10:28 pm

What a fantastic trip.
Thanks again to Andrew, Martin and Stephen for route and organisation. And to all the other alpine enthusiasts, Was good to meet you all.
Regarding my incident with the rock, Car Nil rock 1 wheel split and wheel bearing Fxxxed. However we did make it back to the M54 M6 junction. When the car finaly decided it was time for it to play, and in true alpine fashion it pogo sticked all over the platz.
Needless to say me and the car were both chauffeured home curtsey, of the AA.
Next year again is a must.
Dave
Have a nice day.(':)')

To Big MVS and Turbodog for all their hard work organising a great event had a great time and the 21 even got me home  Mr Dell for organising the digs and breakfast etc thanks Steve & Steves mum and Dad

Hope your feeling better Martin

I have reasonable footage on my phone of the accent to the heavens, to be honest the view was so breath taking. I 'd have walked it let alone driven it. I also have a panaramic view from the top so people can see what they missed out on and book themselves on the next trip.

Thanks once again for a fantastic weekend.
