You mean he managed to walk right past it, fighting the urge to get his spanners out and tidy up a few small jobs for me while I was shopping! :lol:

How come none of you Alp owners were around between 1990 and 2002 when I was a regular annual visitor with my Alp to your area for a couple of weeks at a time. We spent a lot of time at the Cheshire Oaks shopping village, Beattes in Birkenhead and of course Chester, with the wife on a shopping spree. The only problem was getting all her purchases into the car for our return journey :lol: :lol: :lol:
The 5117 was one of my regular routes and I never saw another Alp in our travels :cry:

I can't see any problem with not getting the wife's shopping in John, that's a good feature :lol:

I live very close to Cheshire Oaks so occassionally the A610 is resplendent in yellow on the Oaks and the surrounding roads. Was there on Saturday in it actually!
