Women owners

Postby pgoldsmith » Sat Oct 04, 2008 5:35 pm

Driving round today I notice there are a great deal of women driving MR2 , MGF, Porsche Boxsters etc.. So how many of the GTA fraternity are female? Or indeed how many owners allow their wives to drive their cars ?
Mine isn’t particular interested which is good cos I wouldn’t let her touch it anyway

Mrs Dini drives all my cars, but she is not a fan of the A610 or GTA because the pedals come up from the floor and they are not easy to drive with stilettos....... She loves the Turbo 2, or should I say loved as it's all apart now :(

My wife is insured on my Turbo, and has driven it once or twice. She loves it, but calls it Eleanor (from Gone in 60 Seconds), 'cos she thinks it hates her :!:

Don't your wives and girlfriends drive you home from the pub or restaurant ( under careful supervision ,listening to all your instructions while your awake)

Mine hates it cos it's not got tart's toys like power steering which you can adjust by blowing on it! Oh and the pedals aren't fitted correctly there on upside down, took me a while to to get my breath back after that one! First time she decided to get in it took 10 mins before she gave in and asked where the handbrake was! As for driving me home from the pub of course i allow her to in her own car! Not to be outfoxed by the GTA she couldn't find the handbrake in my Mercedes CLK hence why i'm on her insurance and i hide my keys lol!
