Credit Crunch hits Renault

As of 31/10/08 and without any warning:

Renault London City = Closed
Renault Dartford = Closed
Renault Croydon = Closed

Any other areas outside of London had any closures?
Trafic, Twingo GT, Vel Satis Turbo x 2, Clio V6 Proto Ph2, Vel Satis 3.5, Avantime, Alpine A610, GTA Atmo x 3, GTA Turbo x 3, R5 Gordini Turbo Mid Engine, Alpine A310 4cyl, Alpine A110, Yellow Smart

Charles Hurst Renault Bangor closed a few months ago, as did Hurst Peugeot Knock and Hurst Jaguar Portadown recently.

Masters is OK. It's a franchise. Only the Renault owned dealers are afffected at the moment.

I hope they go bust and all lose their homes!!! They pissed me off big time earlier in the year.

Easy Mr Smith....... remember I am in the motor trade too, and times are very very hard, Mr Dell will be buying even more cars now that prices are all falling. I know of a lovely large empty showroom ( to put all your cars in ) near you, going cheap Mr Dell

That's very true but they have fed this want over need mind set .People seem to think it's their right to have 3 cars ,new house ,two weeks in the sun etc .....Even the latest bit of techno bullocks is a basic human right it would seem these days ...

I'm off to see if I can dry out the bonfire for this evenings yearly treat for the kids .A sparkler , burnt sausage and ONE whizz bang ...I wa born in a wet paper bag ya know ....

I read in the Sunday papers that Volvo sold over 41 ,000 trucks in the 3rd quarter of 2007.
In the same quarter in 2008, they sold only 115. A 99.8% fall.

IT business is not much better either.

Manufacturing been on it's asp for the last ten years ,no one cared ...............What shall we do next ??Not much left .
I've just cleared the greenhouse ,dug the veggie plot and put up the barbed wire fence .

These are hard times, what about the milions/billions these banks made over the last 10 years? People should keep some back for the trough after the peak. Like my grandmother said if you can't afford it don't have it!
