I've been talked out of it!

Postby Tony Smith » Tue Dec 23, 2008 9:44 am

Yes I was going to get shot of the Alp but a combination of encouragement from many club members and seeing people have some success with their Adaptronics and made me decide to have one more go. Is going for MOT on the 29th and provided it passes I'll be taking it oop north for Scoff to do some mapping. I also couldn't think of anything over 15 years old (essential for my classic fleet policy) that I'd rather have (that I could afford anyway!).

Tony, you must get that trigger wheel back up and running before going to see Scoff - he'll tell you the same thing. Maybe even with one of clee's setups if he's up for it... they are really neat. You have that spare pulley which is the one Lee needs for it AFAIK... (?)

Hi Tony,

Even if it doesn't pass (emissions wise) give me a call we'll trailer it up to Scoff get the thing running right re-MOT; you've come so far with it and it should be real quick when properly sorted.

You have to finish it anyway as I am looking at doing a 3 ltr conversion at some point and I need some inspiration mate

Dave M had my last one ....
The sensor bracket missed all his A/C stuff as well .Just needed to shorten the sensor mount block by the thickness of the compressor mounting bracket .
