Identical apart from the sensor mount.

Rob W's coming past you on his way home sometime shortly after crimbo, can get him to collect/drop off if you like? The bellhousing I have is all bead blasted and purdy, on a rebuilt box that needs the sensor in it now...

I had pondered the idea of doing that on a bay... did you use the GTA rear subframe?

I dropped the engine and box out of the car in one unit.
Then I did the same on the VW
The next job was to put the Renault engine and gearbox under the van on a clarks motor bike jack.
I lowered the van down and cut out any parts that got in the way inc the original boot floor, inner wings, bulkhead and and area under the back seat to allow the gearbox nose cone to fit.
Then I made up all the new sheet metal, an engine cradle and a new gearbox mount.
All very simple now it is finished, but lots of time was lost deciding how to go about all the individual tasks.
The only extra work on the bay is the cooling system, but that has all been done by other builders, covered in other forums such as vwkd.
