made from Lexan Polycarbonate with the black border just like originals but much lighter

AFAIK there's no such thing. Acrylic can be smoked by not PC.

However you can buy "smoke effect" polycarbonate spray paint from a model shop. Don't use standard acrylic paint becaese it'll eat the PC.

solid black polycarbonate for machining 5 maxi turbo sliders as they dont hold up to well in perspex

Sliders for what? You're prolly better off with something like Delrin or Nylon 66

Polycarbonate is used for applications where optical properties and toughness are required. eg CD's, riot shields....

stuck on temporarily with some silicon.

just to refresh....


we've checked with Renault and original Glasses are no longer available and they won't be making anymore,

I've removed my original glass covers and replaced with polycarb as a mater of insurance before i chip or break the glass ones.

I've done a limited run and there's a few pairs left once theyre gone they're gone.... i won't be getting any more made unless i get a minimum of 10 orders so snap them up while they're available!
