I know what you mean about about the chav horns and teeth on Saxo's ....not my idea of a modified car, but, the organiser Mark Dow is all for old cars as well. Somebody had a pop at the show on 21 TOC and he defended his corner stating that older cars are just as important to him. My view was to try and get the 21 noticed as much as possible. We had on average 40+ 21's at the show and one year, Prima lent us the Europa Cup to put on the stand before it went back to Histoire & Collection.

I know there are a lot of cars you probably dont want to see or appreciate, but its up to you whether you want to take a stand and be bothered to put something interesting on show, other than a pug 106 or a Saxo with horns teeth and a stereo that weighs more than the kerb weight of the original car

Due to a date clash most of us will be at the Bromley Pageant on the 60 car Renault Heritage stand.

This year our friends from ASAN are bringing 6 or 7 nice cars over from France.

eg GTA Le Mans, A110, R5T2, A310, GTA etc

I took the modded 5 Gordini Turbo to FCS last year and there was a Venturi, GTA and a couple of other older Renaults like Lee in the 21T but the majority interest is modern performance eg Renaultsport Megane/Clio and other than that modified in the bodykit rather than performance sense.

Tony Hart was there with his super fast 5GTT and there were some other 5's as well.

What made it worse last year was the weird micro climate. It was like a whirlwind / hurricance unless you could get indoors into the VIP unit.

It's a good event for cheap track time though.
Trafic, Twingo GT, Vel Satis Turbo x 2, Clio V6 Proto Ph2, Vel Satis 3.5, Avantime, Alpine A610, GTA Atmo x 3, GTA Turbo x 3, R5 Gordini Turbo Mid Engine, Alpine A310 4cyl, Alpine A110, Yellow Smart
