Yeap, no arguments there, there is always a restriction in the system and compromises to be made. But bare in mind Mr C's intended requirements as you know, then makes sense:

X7U bottom end and heads - DIY modification.
Standard headers - DIY modification.
Standard collector - DIY modification.

The Renault engineers did actually get a very interesting compromise in favour of compensating for restricted exhaust flow - the long conrod - the acceleration around BDC assists over come to a degree the pumping losses during initial exhaust blow-down. Provided you don't have choked flow, this won't be source of your problems. :wink:

Yeah, you can't quote specific people, you have to delete the ="clee" bit, for example.

Yeh ....It is silenced ..I need to knock up a tail pipe from the box .The twin MeccaParts on at the minute is 102 db :shock:

Chris Hawes' DeLorean zorst was measured off the top of the scale at 126dB.

It's embarrassing.
