Pod Exclusive Hire

Postby clee » Tue Feb 10, 2009 5:35 pm

My other club ( no not that one ) have hired Santa Pod for the day on Friday 29th of May 2009 :D

This means you get unlimited runs and no queues to do so .
Price will be around £85 for non members or £60 for members ( RTOC membership is £25 for new and only £10 to renew yearly )

Who's up for it ? I'd like to see at least half a dozen there and make it a proper Alpine test day 8)
It's the Friday after La Vie en Bleu so if ya GTA or even 21 lets you down there you can save face down the Pod

You will also be able to get loads of tips from the hardcore RTOC strip racers ...

Add some names guys

I would rather pay £90 and have an RAOC proving day as its got corners and only have approx 10 people on the whole 4 + miles of track.

And still have times

A whole day destoying clutches and drive shafts - a very hard day on a cars drive train....I cant afford to do a clutch on GTA at the moment    or drive shaft come to think about it

:D .

Got what I was after .. best times below ...

[email protected] ...1.859..... 60'
[email protected] ...1.981..... 60'
[email protected] ...2.2108....60'

I think that's as much as is possible on this setup .Times would give about 225 bhp at the wheels ..say 260 engine .1170 kg incl driver .

We better ......
I think a very late 12 is poss with the current setup .My 60' times are very good so it really does hook up well now ...Just need a string a good run on a cool lump and it'd be there perhaps with a tad more boost

Great result 8)

That's a significant up if you consider it's basically the same spec as old setup, just turbo upgrade and bigger injectors really. Probably as much as you can feasibly expect.

Starting point - Lee Crowston GTA Turbo White 6.8s 15.5s 135.8mph 214bhp 15.1 @ 98.3 - on Renix BBR and std injectors wasn't it?

12.5 I think is going to require around 320hp ish at the flywheel, working off 13.3 and your other stats.
... A diamond is only a piece of coal that did well under pressure... PRV afflicted, may be I need to squeeze harder!!!!
