Blimey, that's spooky - I'm hoping Stevo picked up exactly that for me yesterday...

You can go direct to Renault if you like or come to me if you have any problems.

The LHD & RHD wheels are the same except the badge has the word Alpine on the LHD version.

Hi Stephen, thanks for the info. My local dealer is as helpful as usual and says the computer shows no stock.
Can i get these items from you if you don't mind.
I'll stick with the UK steering wheel and gearknob i think.
How do i go about paying you for the items.
Regards, Ben

Cheque payable to RAOC or Paypal to [email protected]
(personal payment - so no fees)

£156.98 Total.

Any problems and you can have a full refund or pay the extra if it turns out only LHD is available.

How bad is your wheel by the way as I may have a good s/h one as a last resort option?

Regards
Stephen

Hi Stephen,

Thanks for all your help with this. I'll paypal the money to you tomorrow for both items. If LHD steering wheel is the only option that is fine by me, just let me know and i'll send you the extra money.

My steering wheel is pretty good to be fair but just fancied a new one as i was thinking of spending a few quid on the car in certain area's. The big bucks will be taking engine and gearbox out to repair subframe and air con pipes and while i'm at it get a new clutch fitted as mine judders, i think it was juddering when i sold it 8 years ago.

Was also thinking of getting the seats re done, are the cloth seat covers still available or even the leather seat covers (but i would also need the door covers if going for leather)

Can i send you the membership money by paypal and e-mail you a copy of the membership form. When does the next years membership start so i get the full year?

Thanks again for all your help
Ben

Stephen.... long time, no speak :)

Sorry to go O/T, but can you get any Spider stuff too? As you may know, I've got a RHD Spider, but I want to remove the glass screen assembly and replace it with the aerofoil thingy-me-bob as used on the very first LHD Spiders.

What do you think my chances are?

Cheers Lee

I don't think that conversion is quite as straightforward as it first seems.

IIRC It's almost easier to buy another car if you can find one that is...

Mr Holt will have the definitive answer though!

Ah-ha, and may I ask whom these experts are that could assist in my quest for such a conversion?

Thanks :)

Ben,

Your steering wheel has arrived. Would you like to collect at WSR Silverstone?

No sign of gearknob yet.
