Hi everyone,

It was nice to meet all of you at the proving day on thur. Glad the weather was (relatively) kind to us, particularly for me with my FWD hatch. Thanks for letting me and my megane tag along.
I can see how these days can become quite addictive. I'm already thinking of how I can improve my figures next time around (rear seat removal, loose weight, etc!)

Have you managed to work out the BHP?
Would be interested to know, what my car is producing.

Accoording to Steve's calculations mine was making 287 bhp. About right I think, was at 0.9 bar. Fits in pretty accurately with the 260 bhp at 0.8 bar it made on the rolling road

Please note that we have measured true 0-60 and true 1/4 mile without rollout. Whilst it is convention to measure 0-60 without rollout 1/4 mile times are almost alwyas recorded with 1 foot roll out at drag strips. For the range of performance of the vehciles tested this would equate to a reduction of approximately 0.3 seconds off the stated 1/4 mile times.

We also tried something new on this occassion. We measured Vmax from standing and flying starts to see if there was any improvement.
