I had a look on the Sparkplugs.co.uk website and they list the Champion S6YC for the GTA and when cross referenced with NGK it comes up with BP7EFS. Any comments?. Trevor.

Trevor,
Just for clarification, the original plugs fitted to the Atmo by Alpine were EYQUEM plugs, type 803LJS, and the direct equivelant NGK, according to Sparkplugs.co.uk is .....wait for it......BP6EFS.
I was convinced that I did my homework back in 1990
PS, When you say you looked up plugs for the GTA, remember the plugs are different for the Turbo, which are:- EYQUEM...805LJS which are in fact .....BP7EFS
