OK, any one taking any spares?
I have a few cable ties, gaffer tape, a gear linkage connector, injector O ring, loads of tools, spare wheel, tyre weld (courtesy of tescos), bulbs, fuses, suspension bush, and a mobile phone.
Any one taking a fan belt, and alternator or any thing else usefull.
Mr Law, we rely on you for buckets, sponges and polishing materials.

And if any one wants a GPS location file of speed cameras, let me know.
I have ripped out all unwanted sites and just included an area of lat 1.5 to 7.5 and long 50 to 51.5, there are 420 sites and there are no specs zones reported. Format is CSV, so you may need to convert it. PM if you wish for a copy.

bigstevet wrote:Right then Campers.... Lets sort out meeting up for the ferry on Friday 18th for those sailing from Dover.

I think we should meet at the Ashford Tesco's car park at 4:40am leaving at 4:50am PROMPT then convoy down to Dover & try & get into the same loading lane for the ship.

The Address of the Tesco's is:

ASHFORD CROOKSFOOT EXTRA,
HYTHE ROAD,
ASHFORD,
KENT,
TN24 0YE

If you're not at the Tesco's for 4:50am then we'll see you at Norfolkine Dover!

trouble is its not on the route for most if us from north of the river.

Sounds like you got your car/mot sorted. GREAT, see you at Dover.

I will be filling up at Shell Ashford, 35 North Street, Ashford, TN24 8LQ.
It is the best stop for V-Power fuel and is always 3 ppl cheaper than the last Shell stop at the next junction of the M20 (J11).
Time permitting, I'll exit Ashford and see most of you in Tesco as I rejoin the M20, otherwise it is onwards to Dover, 20 miles and 20 minutes from Ashford.

FINAL INSTRUCTIONS

MEETING POINT FRIDAY AM

TBH I think the previous suggested time of 4:40 for a 4:50 depart is too late as the last possible check in is 5:15 and that's cutting it very fine.

I think you will need to have left Tesco at 4:30 so more like 4:20 for a 4.30 depart as it's 25 mins to Dover and it would be good to aim for 5.00am.

The Address of the Tesco's is:

ASHFORD CROOKSFOOT EXTRA,
HYTHE ROAD,
ASHFORD,
KENT,
TN24 0YE

FERRY IS NORFOLKLINE

www.norfolkline.com

RECOMMENDED TIMES:

Depart: DOVER to DUNKERQUE 18/09/09 06:00
Return: DUNKERQUE to DOVER 20/09/09 23:58

Possible early return 22:01

This will mean arriving Dunkirk at approx 09:00, allowing 6 hours for the journey (with a break for lunch) will see us at the hotel by 15:00.

Check in and a quick rest and time for a few laps before the Nordschleife closes at 19:30.

Leaving at 17:00 on Sunday, allowing 6 hours for the journey (with a break for dinner) will see us at the ferry terminal by 23:00 just in time for check in.

WSR COSTS

15 euro (£15) per car per day 'Sweetie Parking'. Could possibly be per person but at this stage we are assuming per vehicle so £30 total for both days.

Price includes 2 meals and 4 drinks.

I have purchased passes for everyone SATURDAY AND SUNDAY. Pay at the ferry and I'll give you your passes and stickers.

PARADE LAPS

Yes this is good news as we have confirmed parade laps of the GP circuit. So will get a chance to drive both circuits at the weekend. Allocated randomly by the Germans not by me. We may be able to do some swops with RTOC but we are not sure if allocated to reg plates/cars at this stage.

SATURDAY LAPS = LAW, TAYLOR, SMITH, GARNER, DELL

SUNDAY LAPS = WICKS, ROMBAUT, KENTISH, BEST, SCARLETT, SAGE
Trafic, Twingo GT, Vel Satis Turbo x 2, Clio V6 Proto Ph2, Vel Satis 3.5, Avantime, Alpine A610, GTA Atmo x 3, GTA Turbo x 3, R5 Gordini Turbo Mid Engine, Alpine A310 4cyl, Alpine A110, Yellow Smart
