The geometry setup turned out to be a check as the rear was within spec but the front was out on the camber both sides. As far as we could see there is no adjustment available and the solution would be to slot the upper wisbone balljoint mounts, unless someone knows different?

something's not right ..... either the baljoints are worn or something is bent??
i hads a the same problem witha spider with things out of line ...ended up being the suspension arm being ever so slightly out doing the slot mod thing is a way round it but i'd investigate further if you can....

Hi Trevor,

Yes, you are right, the camber is non adjustable according to the manual, but the pic below does give you possible causes for both castor and camber angles being out :wink:
However the real point is.....how far out are they, and are they both the same?
FWIW....from the manual:-
"Camber"
The relationship between the RH & LH camber angles is important - they should be equal. A difference of more than one degree will cause a pull to one side which will have to be corrected at the steering wheel and this leads to abnormal tyre wear.
Camber angle is usually slight - about 1 degree"

Personally I would not slot the mounts, although you might get the correct angle, the chances of them staying like that once the car starts moving the suspension around due to bumps and such like, is pretty remote.

could it be that the car has shorter springs on it to lower it?

Thank you all for your input.
Looking at the chassis when it was on the ramp it seemed damage free and this was agreed by the tester. It is uncertain what the condition of the bushes although looked ok and I should really start by replacing these before making adjustments. Are these still available?
Camber angels were -1"11' front left and -0"20' front right measured on a Hunter Hawk Eye.
For information the car doesn't pull either way at all but there is a slightly different feel to how the car turn in on left and right bends.
