A610 ABS Problem

Hi

Can anyone help with the problem I have.
The ABS warning light stays on.

A renault dealer has gone throught the diagnostics and told me that I need a new ABS computer at a cost of £1200 + fitting.with no guarantees!!

Has anyone had a similar problem?

Or can you suggest a really experienced repairer?

The most common proplem I had with the ABS is the 10amp micro fuse in the large white relay normaly located by the ABS computer in the nose area (A610 ?) as it's rare for a computer to fail unless it's been damaged ie: water ingress
