Alpines in Oxon

Postby microsgialos » Sat Nov 14, 2009 3:34 pm

Can anybody suggest a good place for Alpine mechanical and/or electrical service within a healthy crow's flight of the Ox/Bucks border? Any local Renault dealers up to it? Cheers

Well I'm in Princes Risborough on the Ox/Bucks border... and I end up taking mine to Paul Sage in West Norwood... haven't come up with anyone locally.

Take your car to Clee Aka RATS, he has mine and has done some serious work on it, and I dont mind saying he is finally someone who knows what they are doing.

Give him a go if not drivable then use a transporter they are reasonable.

If you want any more info to sway then pm me.

You really really will not be disapointed

For the last 2 MOTs (which I always find a bit 'interesting' with an Alpine) I've used Didcot Auto Centre, which is also the Top Gear Technology Centre . They did really well at getting one of my rear brake callipers sorted out - sourced and fitted. They take the car seriously and are nearer and cheaper than my local Renault dealer, who are also pretty good for parts etc.
I haven't had to have DAC do anything too 'special', though, so I can't really make any comment on more complex stuff than the above - and we all know how invaluable experience like Clee's and Paul Sage's can be, not just in terms of cost but also in terms of actually doing the job properly.
