Anyone come across this before ??

Rear caliper :? The carrier is not correct as you can see .
There is no way the std pads will fit .With one pad in on the piston side the gap remaining for the other is 11mm ......the pad is 18mm thick .
The old pads that came out are Lucas GDB313 which is the correct pad but
are normal thickness when new .I reckon they must have been shaved down to make them fit :?:

Are the discs correct? Are they too thick maybe? The carrier does look strange, how weird! Is this the reasong for the rear calipers per chance :lol: ?

Yes mate,all correct ...
I bet it just looks that way to you 'cause you've never seen new disks :P
Here's a pick of the 'proper' brackets off the breaker .I'm going to swap them 8) Now I have a pair of useless pistons .....need to source the brackets

New discs, smiscs! Not looking forward to getting my wallet open for new 610 discs :shock: No Renault 25 £20 ebay jobbies available for that I'm afraid....

already available..... in 2 piece dirlled, grooved or combi of both in original 300 mm size or big full race uber brakes..... contact the Alpine Pimp for details :wink:

That's most likely a carrier for solid front/rear disks in other fitments.
Trafic, Twingo GT, Vel Satis Turbo x 2, Clio V6 Proto Ph2, Vel Satis 3.5, Avantime, Alpine A610, GTA Atmo x 3, GTA Turbo x 3, R5 Gordini Turbo Mid Engine, Alpine A310 4cyl, Alpine A110, Yellow Smart

The shiny area where the pads locate .The wrong one is only about 50mm long ,correct is about 60 mm
All sorted now anyways :D
