Yes pretty much, however, the essential difference is the final drive ratio - when you swap to 17", and check out the rolling circumference, swapping to the 25 final brings it all back to the std overall gear ratio within a nats... So you are not loosing out on acceleration by changing over to the bigger rims and rubber... that's all... make sense?

I’ve got to go the other way; I need to use the 3.44:1 from a GTA turbo, as I have the 21 Europa cup gearbox. Hence stripping all the gears off. Otherwise I would have been in the grab a granny Ebay challenge: wink:
