GTA atmo wide body 24v project is now painted! panels being assembled by Mr Walsh as well as fixing the ABS, brake master cyl and fitting the servo pipe to the inlet manifold. Then it comes home and get to get the electrics working - lighting, dash etc, tidy the interior, refurb the wheels, fit new locks, MOT!?
range Rover stripping my '89 rot box and planning to clean up the chassis before putting the 2 door bodyshell on to it to make a fairly civilised 'historic' car.
Audi change the oil

Not much happening here....I had to get a driveshaft replaced after too much sliding around in the snow :( but the best thing i have done recently is fit a set of Magnecor leads and and got Paul Sage to do a full service......I'm glad to report E444NPY is now running really sweetly!

I think a new exhaust is next on the list....

Got to say the picture of your car looks fab now. Got any pictures of the damage that was done to it? Love the new front bumper BTW. Really works on the car and could see some requests for it from GTA owners.

- I've got a few things planned for the A610. Just changed the battery which turned out to be a swine of a job. The battery tray was in perfect condition (unusual on a A610), it turned out to be a GTA battery tray on it and therefore a GTA battery. Typical as I'd been and bought a A610 battery as everyone said it was a standard size. :? The GTA battery tray is much smaller though and didn't take the larger A610 battery so that had to go back. GTA battery is half the price though so that was a bonus :D

- Waiting for some hoses from Stephen/Samco although Samco aren't exactly in a rush to get them done!

- Must sort out a decent set of stoppers this year. My brakes aren't very good! Must be all that weight in the A610

- New set of rear tyres and that will do for this year for the planned jobs as I'm sure other unscheduled things will come up.

- Need to buy another Alpine as I'm feeling a bit of a lightweight only having one. 8)

- Need to work with BIG MVS on finding a nice pair of jugs for my avatar.

As you asked I just got my Alpine back on the road after 9 months and lots of euros to Mr Walsh.
Stolen in March 2009 and f*^%ing wrecked.
However we now have a very different machine. Laguna V6 engine with turbo attached.
Picture can be seen with Mr D's new Clio V6 outside Richards place.
Very pleased with the results. :P
Need to sort out a couple of issues to get it completely sorted.
Fuel tank sender & heater being the most pressing with intermittent wipers and a leak into the drivers footwell being the others.
Goes like s**t of a hot shovel.

GTA I was meant to be eventually testing the engine this weekend, but it looks like I might be working instead :(
After that its remove a/c gubbins, sort heater, wipers, windows, locks ... New wheels or maybe just rear tyres.
Rangey Waiting for bro-in-law to remove petrol tank and fit new fuel pump ... been waiting for him to do this since November ... Will prob sell when its fixed
Scirocco It was on the road, but bro-in-law broke the handbrake last week, so currently trying to source another.
Z3 Will be sold when weather picks up
Mira New intercooler to fit and cat bypass to sort out, manual boost control and bigger turbo also on the cards as well as larger wheels.

I think I may have to find another mechanic instead of my bro-in-law ... He's short handed at work and ignores my cars as he classes them as not urgent :?
1988 GTA Turbo ....
1990 Scirocco Scala (1.9 TSR), 3x Daihatsu kei cars, 659cc turbo, 4wd.

It's peanuts but my offering is....

Refurb one rear wheel to match the one I bought from Martin.
Buy a set of R888 before they run out / banned.

Fit these plus plumb in a boost/vaccum gauge for the summer.
Strip down offside window mechanisum and regrease the spiral thingy.

May also look into suspension kit but thats not high up the priority list.

Oh, and also attend at least two if not three events this year - Bleu day in Gloucester, Breakfast club at Goodwood and may be Le Mans (with or without GTA)

My list of things on my GTA:

- Replace the auxiliary coolant hoses with Samco silicone ones, when they finally arrive
- Tidy up stone chips and other paint chips in the front bumper.
