History is key as is a keen Alpine enthusiast, if the car has been pampered then mileage is not too important as you can always get a bit of paint done and leather re inked!

I would agree. Mileage has never bothered me and I've owned a few cars with 150k + miles and knew of an R25 with a million km on it (original engine and gearbox). With the Alpine, I think a full folder of history with specialists is the most important thing to look for, although as Martin says with less than 20 roadworthy cars, I guess you just have to pick up the best car possible and then make it better :D

With a car like this, half the fun is putting all the little things right (admittedly some are bigger 'little' things and they ain't always fun...!! ) My car has over 120k miles but has been used regularly throughout its life and its probably better being used than leaving them for 6 months + at a time. Personally, I think they should be driven and be on the road, its where they belong, not under a dust sheet in a warehouse. :?

The A610 at Cannock Renault is the MD's car and no one is allowed in it.
I was talking to them the other week while looking at Laguna estate.

When I bought mine there was a LHD in Calais for sale- 220k MILES- (300+KM)
Still wanted 20K pounds or it.....they can take the miles, if maintained.

I could be interested in K303 NBK if it does come up for sale, does anyone know more info.

I do love these cars but being in the trade, get bored and move on but then regret it. I'm on my 4th Maserati at the moment and seem to swap from them to the Alpine. The wife misses L6 TEN already which is very unusual for her.

It is this one. Was owned by Performance car magazine as a long term test car and did 16,000 miles in 6 months. Part of a series called 'back to routes' can be seen in the road tests section of this web site. The guy who ran the car (Pete Tomalin I think) struggled to find fault with it whilst he ran it. The magazine almost singlehandedly persuaded me that one day I would have one! From what I've heard, the current owner has really looked after the car. Almost certainly the best car available at the moment but will probably be at a price.

That look's very nice indeed and in the best colour IMHO. I expect he will want what the other two are asking but I think this is in better condition from what I have been told about the car.

Hi Pat, does that mean you've bought your old 610 back? Does it still have the stickers on ready for the Classic?
