Stephen,

I plan to be there, but will travel separately, as I will be RS6 mounted. Have you driven a Spider when it's -4C ?!?!! Looking forward to heated seats......

See you there.

Hopefully you will get it sorted, but how about coming in Mr Best's car if there is a problem.

Tickets are here safely. Presumably everyone is OK with the meet point as have heard nothing to the contrary other than a possibility of Maximan running late due to tyre issues.

Everything seems OK.
The car has been given a bit of a clean (R5Turbo2) but the roof lining has fallen down so will be annoying me all the way down.
I'm in the market for a GTA Turbo so I hope to hear some good reviews on them tomorrow!!

Review......

1989 GTA Atmo G778WOW..... repatriated to France.... the new owner collects it in a couple of hours.... it will be driven down from Geneva to Toulouse...

I drove the car from Cannock UK down to London to collect President Co Pilot.... and then on to my house near Geneva.... car ran faultlessly, no creaks, whines, rattles. it did 30 to the gallon on average whilst keeping to French speed limit, a pretty good car i my opinion and a great loss to the UK.... but no one in the UK would fork out the price for it and the French have got another bargain!

good luck with your hunt for one

Sounds about right Andy, a shame another RHD goes to France - Like you say us brits are too tight and would rather have a BMW M3, Subaru Impreza or Nissan 300 than an old Renault  At least it's gone to a good home.
