Wanted : Petrol Sener unit for 89 GTA turbo

Gents,
My petrol sender unit is on the fritz.
It flashes horizontal bars on teh dash board.
When I remove it I can see the resistanece changing as I move the float unit (Manually up and down the unit.
However when it is in the car doesnt work.
I managed to get another working sender and on installing that one the petrol guage worked fine.

Looking for a working unit that someone might have in the back of their garage before I have to empty my piggybank out to the Renault stealers.

Any help appreciated.

Pre 1987
1987-1989
1990 onwards and A610

Which year is your GTA?

As the tile reads 1989.
Part number 031044 I believe.
