What a car !.

Postby Paul Taylor » Sun Mar 28, 2010 9:19 pm

Well today was my first long distance run in the GTA.

From Reading, down to my parents place on the South Coast (Swanage).
The GTA drove absolutely flawless, carrying myself, my wife, son, and our dog.
A fair bit of brisk driving on the way down, and had a play with a 08 Z4 "M" series. I wont go into details, but in the end he pulled over and gave us the thumbs up !.
Even with 4hrs driving today, i found the GTA to be quite civilised on the long trip, and comfortable too.
I filled up with fuel when we got home and did a quick calculation..... 28.7 mpg. I think thats quite good given we had a few spirited sessions.

Even my wife, who up to now has not been too impressed with the GTA, said it was a fun drive. And now she likes it.

Overall... Cracking car, and highly under-rated.
Good times...........
