I never know what sort to get, but there is plenty on ebay.
Buffered, or not
Parity or not,
ECC or not,
but this one has gold connectors which is always good.

Memory type/speed missmatch...does it work when you take the old memory out?

Not compatable with your motherboard

Faulty memory

Incorrect number of dimms...how many slots (empty and taken) do you have, Some machines like it in pairs/fours

Not fitted correctly/in wrong slots

If you really unsure you can take a punt with an online scanner...see what it thows up

If you let me know what you need/have i might eb able to sort some.

Else you can always get a geek on with this

Cheers Jules .

It has the following installed .
384MB
128mb PC100 & 256mb PC133

Initially I replaced both with two of the new ones .It wouldn't boot .
Then I put the original pc100 back in paired with a new 512mb pc133 .Still wouldn't boot .
Then Dawn got out of bed so I put it back to how it was and got the hell out of there ......
