Oil sump drain plug renewal

Hi All.....at some previous time some sirry irriot has ruined the existing oil sump plug....so if i can eventually remove it my question is......what can i replace it with. Any common Renaults etc?
Would Renault dealers still sell these things?
Any tips appreciated.

According to the parts catalogue it's a 77 number so that's often a helpful start:

77 03 075 152 (there's a dagger symbol next to that number, though, and I've no idea what that means). The other number listed (that doesn't have the dagger) is:
79 03 075 033

Curiously, for the sump-plug washer the 77 part number has no dagger but the 79 number does...

Does anyone know what this symbol means in the parts catalogue?

yeah, the dagger symbol is common on Renault parts lists. it just their way of telling you its far easier to kill yourself then find that part.

It's a cross not a dagger and it means that the part # is dead .

I understand it is a fairly common part to Renault/Peugeot/Citroen, so it should be easy to get,.... it is a 16mm sump plug, and it requires a 8mm square key to shift it.
If the square "hole" is damaged, it does stick out a bit so a mole wrench might be able to shift it.

The sump plug is still avalible,

The part was quite easy to get.....Peugeot Dealer at 3 quid.
I then spent over 2 hours trying to remove the existing Mother *#@*....who ever stuffed it in the first place needs shooting.[workshop]

Oh yes, we pay a garage £100 an hour to do simple stuff like changine the oil, they pay an apprentice £5 an hour to do it badly supervised.
