:) goes in bud, trust me I'm a doctor.... well... :lol: Yours may be a little different as I used the laguna starter, and that little baby may be a little larger in diameter. As long as it's not metal-to-metal contact it should be fine :wink:

Ok sir :) off to bed, v early start, didn't back from work until late :evil:, just eaten so not going to go over w/shop now to rustle up the stuff, just get some zzzs So, w/shop at 6, aim to leave before 8 loaded up.... seez ya tomorrow..

Clee, I know you've lowered the car, but do you really need caster wheels on the sump? :lol:

Engine is back out from under after running in the cams .Water pump is going in the bin and an electric one in it's place .Hacksaw through an old pump and some screwfix direct parts ....

Hi Lee, looks fine from what I can see in the photos, check for signs of distress on the lobe, and follower if you can see. Looks ok though 8) . Can you check all the Reniat valve cotters / collets are sitting in properly, solid and no signs of jumping around, that's if the rocker covers aren't already gunked up :wink: . We had a couple sitting high if you remember.

I'll check them all .
Got the oil drain done at Pirtek ..Now then ..it's a bit tight due to me being a twat .It does space off the headers but will touch them if left to it's own devices .It stainless overbraided PTFE not rubber .I think once the headers are wrapped it will be OK or I can get them to knock up another one about 3" longer ....... about the length of pipe that goes over the end fittings :roll:

Looks pretty, but ooops :) Better remake it I suggest, it won't survive without the wrap (inner, will also cook the oil up), and with it will likely start rubbing through anyway.. Up to you boyo, but tink it bit dodgey ;)
Oh looking at that pic and deep brown on the flywheel, suggest cleaning it back bright on the friction surfaces, not sure how the clutch material
stands up - just thinking about brake pads, as mine never seem to work so well after rusted disks..
Don't want the material surface to glaze, we know it could be close to it's limit (darn well better be - 2nd stage full chaff). Maybe someone has the know-how on this here?

... Thing I like about the reversed headers, is it looks like an old aero engine ;-)
In fact, the PRV has been used in aero applications, but think it was used in an APU for aux power, laugh..

Oh and talking odd PRV applications, I once spotted one being used as ballast for a military crane, brand new odd fire atmo, never fitted to anything interesting...

I've just chopped another drain pipe off and will get another made up tomorrow . :wink: Or they may be able to get the old pipe off ?
I'll add another 150mm and get the bottom angle more like 60 rather than 45 ..
All I'm missing now is the throttle linkage and a charge cooler pump I think then it can go back in and on the road :twisted:
Thinking about the throttle linkage .It has one bolt to the top of the water pump .This is now free to dangle so something needs making to make it solid .
