Well said Mr Dini, as long as the part number is attached we can all figure out what is what. Orders can be placed from 15th April I am told so we are losing out on de "bargains" as we speak.

Please post in members section

I only want to see if it has "A610 Le Water Pumpe" 70% off 99 Euro, so I can slash my wrists

Doesn't work properly for technical parts as you well know, but will post up list any way.

Working though this is taking me ages, lots of items are missing from the parts book (or on the pages that don't automatically search) , the parts names are helpful (eg pipe) and there are a lot of superseded parts (e.g. the older version of something) in there so proceed with care.....plus the good bits are still pretty expensive- water pump A610- 180 euro, steering wheel 195€, crown and pinion set 830 euro etc. Fine if you need one now, harder for squirrelling.

Mr Dell may have to look up a long list of unidentified items on line to get this list in a usable state.

I'll post the excel file I'm working on in a day or two for all to see

Cheers

Yes no problem. I can pick them up with the RHD parts, but as Lee says a lot of them are just meaningless numbers athe moment and we need to get the list knocked into shape to see if there are any hidden gems on there.

I agree with Lee. Started to translate but my French isn't brilliant and on-line translators really don't work for technical bits and pieces. Some of the descriptors are also different for what are essentially the same types of part. I actually ended up looking through the parts manual to spot the 6000 and 6001 (hardly any 7700 numbers in the list) parts that I thought desirable and/or essential replacement items. Of course we all different 'needs' in terms of parts etc and we can all do the same - just take a closer look at the obvious 'mega' reductions - like the A610 cat (but that's a carry over anyway).

We have the Renault on line system available, I can't input the part number and tell you what it is (well maybe hose, clip, trim etc) but if you have an idea what the item is I can spend 5 mins cross referencing the item.

Hi does anyone have a paper copy of the parts book they can rescan at high resolution? (or a good complete PDF)?
About 20% of these parts don't seem to be listed (there are too many for it to be just unreadable) in the current PDF copy.
I have tried rescanning it with alternative OCR tool, but only got slightly better success in searching.
As I have spent two evenings and only managed about 15% of the look ups so far I'm looking for a quicker way.

Prices are still high though....A/C compressor 650 euro etc.

Thanks for the offer. I have that as well but it doesn't seem to recognise the sort of part parts Lee is having problems with - 'your dealer does not market this part' or similar message. Only the searchable parts book pdf seems to be any good for locating the more obscure parts and when it was scanned to make it OCR searchable seems unfortunately a few pages got skipped.
