WANTED: 75mm Alpine emblem.

Hi all,

The enamel on my front emblem has fallen appart.
It seems that Simon Auto want £50 for this item.

" 171005 Emblem vorne 57,72 EUR* "

Does anyone have a decent one for sale here ?.

Simon Autos is not a bad price, you should get about 6-8 years before it starts looking tatty again.

Heard back from Renault UK today.

Badges are all gone. No stock. And will not be re-filling stock.
Part now withdrawn.
Was £60 + vat.

So,..... Stephen, can i buy a french Alpine badge from you ? :-)

Well, keeping an eye on the pennies, i have gone for a cheaper option.

I went to this guy...

After some emails back and forth, he did me a 75mm domed badge, in high gloss.
£4.50 delivered.

I received it today, and put it on. It looks really nice. I know its the newer Alpine logo, but it certainly looks the part and goes well against the silver of my car.

Don't humbrol do the correct colours so you could sort it out youself (IIRC they make modelers enamel paint) ?
