Handbrake mechanism compressor special tool

Postby rupert » Sun May 09, 2010 5:53 pm

This is the tool that goes on the back of the rear caliper to compress the disc springs on the handbrake mechanism so you can put it all back together after you have rather pointlessly diamantled it and found all the parts that shot over the garage floor.

If I can't get one down my local Citroen dealer, does anyone have one that I can borrow?

Bah!

Take a large vice, a couple of bolts, some gaffer tape and my ten year old daughter holding a lamp, several failed attempts....

Done it!

Lee, your tool is safe!
