3 way catch tank connector.

Postby simontaylor » Sun May 09, 2010 10:02 pm

for a 1986 turbo, I need the 3 way connector that links inlet manifold, oil catch tank and air intake. It sits just above the oil breather/catch-tank.

It is item 10 on page 13.341 of the parts manual.

I know there is a special valve in the manifold pipe, item 2, but can I just connect the manifold to the catch tank as a temperary measure?

Of cource I'll be trying a stealer in the morning, but dont often have much luck with them.

Andy, that would be great, 60 00 007 678 and it is for a 1986 GTA turbo, but dont bust a gut for it, or spend too much, it is only a little bit of plastic, worth a few quid or 10 euros.
It is a 3 way connector where each union is 90 degrees to the other 2.
Local stealer says "BO".

For now, I have installed a breather filter onto the top of the catch tank.
I have also left the manifold pipe loose, as it does have the valve (1 way ?) in the end of it.
Mind you, there are fumes coming from the breather filter..... but will live with that for now.
If you have a later filler cap, that could be mighty usefull.

Top-dog Turbodog, it fits a treat. Just need to plumb it in now.

Lee, what is the size of the 1 way valve on the inlet manifold, I wish to replace the pipe from it to my new oil breather, and I need to know the bore size. The one from the manifold valve that used to go the catch tank, ie part 7 on page 13.431 of the parts manual.

I dont want to take off the existing one yet, it looks fragile and prone to damage, and I need the car for prescott and the Palace this weekend.

Thanks in advance.
