I sold him a good leather interior, minus door inserts which will need to be done.

If anyone fancies it and wants to go back to cloth I still have the cloth interior.

Don't fib!

If you think the other one is better, you can always buy the car, swop them and sell it on

Looks like a tidy car indeed, It really wouldnt take much to trim the door cards in leather any way, nice to see these cars going for proper money even though at 12k you would still only get a scaby lotus esprit for that.

Prices going up

Postby Tony Smith » Fri Jun 25, 2010 7:23 am

People are definitely going after more money recently - last 4 or 5 GTAs I've seen have been asking silly money. Richard Walsh's looks good value at £8.5k but there was an ok Atmo for 6k plus on E-bay recently - didn't sell though. Big MVS has to take some responsibility for the price rises

Not a criticism

Postby Tony Smith » Sat Jun 26, 2010 9:11 am

Wasn't moaning - just stating the fact - I've broke 3 over the years myself. I used to get loads of stick from the 21 Turbo boys for breaking them - my argument was always if you want to pay me what I can break it for I won't break it - never got any takers though.

Ah that's OK then Tony, so you meant to say:

Big MVS and I have to take some responsibility for the price rises

Going back to the A610, if he gets 12.5k for it he will be doing well but good luck to him.

£7.7k (reserve not met) on the ebay auction with 3 hours to go, not sure it will get much further on ebay to be honest.

Think it went to 9ish in the end.

Had a look today and it really is very clean.

I'm very tempted as the garage is missing an Alpine at the moment.

I bought one of Alvin's previous A610s but when I found out it was the ex Silverstone F1 safety car I couldn't turn down the money I got for it in the end.

Has he resisted the temptation to bling this one up. It took forever to get the sharks fin off the last one!!

If anyone is going for it - he is a really nice guy. His wife and kids are lovely too.

If his car is still hanging around in a few weeks I suspect it will be an itch I will not be able to resist scratching.
