Sorry to tell you Andy, the only way to get rid of the lovely red water is ......

Change the radiator.

Rebuild the engine, inc total de-sludge of the block and liners.

Change the heater matrix.

Also the 3 main steel water pipes may have to be changed!

.........then you will have lovely clear antifreeze water!

The damage has already been done.

You did ask the question!

D ,C or pee it won't make any difference now :lol:
Unless of course you have been fastidious in it's upkeep from day one :wink:

The amount of shite that builds up at one end of the block means that unless you do as Richard says it'll always be brown .
Take out the block plugs and give it a good blast might help a bit .....
