R5NGA is the man who is best suited to advise you as he uses standard size tyres and tests them at the nurburgring

send him a pm

or you could stick a set of 17s on it they look good on a grey spider

Goodyear F1 GS-D3's for me - 20,000 miles including countless Ring trips and trackdays and only now are they looking tired. Extremely grippy in the wet (except at Prescott in 2008, what with all that those leaky Type-35'ss everywhere.... ;-) ) and very progressive in the dry. Spider is never short of grip, so I have never felt the need to go all sticky R888 stylie.

I had a picture to post, but still haven't worked out how to do it!

I have had no problems with the Toyo Proxes that Mr Garner fitted to mine.

He did well in a fair few sprints with them, also worked ok for Monsieur Leclere at Prescott.

Thanks for the advice all that posted, I now have a set of the Goodyear F1 GS-D3's on order from Event tyres , very reasonable at £408 fitted for the set.

Regards

Steve
