Ooops

I've had a long break from doing anything on the Alpine due to various things ... The main one being the garage where it is being inaccessible for a few months, long story. I've also got slightly addicted to silly little Japanese cars in the meantime and have been playing with those,

Update... I've started the car and run it for a while, and according to the pressure gauge in the car the oil pressure goes up to 4bar and then settles down to around 2 when the engine gets warm. Theres no signs of mayo or major engine damage at the moment. I've only had the engine running for half an hour or so but things are looking promising so far.

I've just got to change oil and water (again) then re-attach the front bumper and I'll be putting it in for an MOT. We've done a quick pre-MOT check on it and I'm quite confident it will pass. With any luck it will be back on the road in 2 weeks.... I've also sorted the wipers and fitted the fuel sender I got from Clee last year

Cheers Andy, I was actually thinking about you the other day as one of my little kei cars need a respray ...but I don't think its worth your kind of attention.

I've been up to the garage again today, oil and water changed, again and water temp sender fitted, so theres now no warning lights on dash, just the bumper to fix and re-attach ... nearly there.

oh i don't know, get an estimate from a local bodyshop and ill see if i can do you one of my half price deals
