Nice find :D .....but the caps are colour coded for the Atmo and Turbo at different pressures for each, I seem to remember turbodog telling me  ...but if you got the cap off the old one or a new one from renault...should be ok.
The Renault price earlier this year was £52,44 for the tank and cap

Me too for my 610- got warned at Macon last year that they can split if cracked- and you can't see the cracking until you take them out....
Its a good price....Lee

Yep..... :)

It is my understanding that the Le Mans also uses the Blue one (fairly obvious that  ) but I can`t confirm what the 610 uses...perhaps some kind 610 owner could inform us please
From what I remember the caps from Renault were only £3 or £4...not that expensive.

Pleased to see that this 'find' has been of some use. Could I suggest that if these 'Jeep' units come with a Jeep/Chrysler Part Number that it is posted on this thread for future reference.

I think B16MVS will need to heavily invest in some STERODENT to bring his used expansion tanks up to brand new shiney condition, if they are to compete!

Too true Stuart! However I need to fill the "tight wads" niche market of this here Alpine Community to save them a few quid thus being cheaper and OE genuine Renault

The part number listed by one of the larger US suppliers is 4773849K. These are as cheap as $20 (plus post of course) from some sites, but you could get stung for duty. Nevertheless I'm sure that there are plenty of inexpensive ones from UK Jeep suppliers. Incidentally, I don't think that the Renault item is normally supplied with a cap.
