Still sad to see those pctures but you can see what we walked away from! I think the car stood up to the impact and protected us pretty well.

I think this one may have gone to one of Turbodogs mates (he’s in salvage) but not sure.

The under bidder ‘lotus racing’ was Keith with the Venturi 400GT.

so it must be someone after it for the lump?

... nought special about Le Lump worth paying anymore than some of the other tuners choice engines in the series.

Cylinder heads are the same casting as the 3ltr n/a in a Laguna or the biturbo etc (in fact any of the later 3ltr n/a engines), cams can be found in some of the atmos in the other PRV members incarnations, and the solid rockers can be had from a GTA turbo. The Inlet manifold is pants... what else are you getting (?) a 93mm bore and 73mm stroke, some how I have seen that else where as well... front cover, yeap you can get that ... engine code??

Glad the guys were able to walk away from that impact as well as you did, thank goodness, couldn't have been a pleasant experience.
... A diamond is only a piece of coal that did well under pressure... PRV afflicted, may be I need to squeeze harder!!!!

The pistons are unique and the block has under-piston oil jets common only to the Laguna Z7X-R-xxx serieseseses.

The front cover is the same as any of the 3 litres avec balance shaft, but with some of the casting ribs machined off around the alternator and them two holes tapped for the dizzy cup.

Don't forget the clutch, pretty pricey and the only choice without going custom

Stevo, how about chasing down that NA Venturi 300 that's a cat B and "can't be sold"?

Well you'd need to have a set of pistons made in order to build your own engine, and that'd be half the cost of that car before you've drawn breath.
