Cams and rocker gear cleaned and dressed .Mix and match time from the two lumps to get the better bits .Con rod/end caps out the car lump don't look too hot ,only one passes muster so far so going to have to clean up the ones from the fire damaged lump .Rocker gear from stock .
Cams from fire lump as they have cleaned up far better .

Ohhh !!!
Can someone take a picture of the dizzy case position when installed .I forgot to mark relative to the head .I know roughly where it should be but something to align to will make it quicker to set-up :oops:

Yep, should be able to do it at the w/end if no one else is able to do it. R30 lump in the w/shop with the dizzy in place, not sure how much it will help, should be easy to time anyway. :wink:

Will you polish them up to a mirror finish? :D

I do ...I do hate them ......That's why it's all come off in one piece and I have another fully built up .
EFI FTW innit .................

I might need some pistons out of that lump mate as I've got 4 good ones ,one borderline and the rest fecked .
Will shout out and see if anyone has any so we can try and keep that other lump whole .

I am hoping to swap my complete engine for a later Laguna/Safrane lump dumping the Carbahtooters for the injection its gotta be the cheapest and most economic way to go :?:

...got two in the garage ...One is destined for the grey atmo with a set of hot cams .Simple enough conversion and the Renix ECU is ready as well :wink:
