Welcome to the 2011 TRS (Essex) Ltd Brands Hatch Stages. After an absence of 20 years Chelmsford Motor Club is proud to return to Brands Hatch. In the second year of title sponsorship, TRS (Essex) Ltd continue their generous support of East Anglian rallying. The company, run by our equipment officer John Conboy, is in the business of replacing oil tanks, so if you need an one, he is your man. A big thanks is also due to Motor Sport Vision and their staff at Brands Hatch who have worked hard to make the event happen.
We are planning to run 8 all tarmac stages totalling approximately 35 miles. The first car will start at 10.00 am and we have a strict curfew of 5.30 pm, so be prepared for the last stage running into darkness. Thanks to all who have indicated their support for the rally so far. If the support translates into entries then demand may be quite strong, so entries will be accepted on a 'first come, first served' basis.
Scrutineering will be available on Saturday evening as well as Sunday morning. If you want to join the organising team in the Thistle Hotel Brands Hatch, there is a group rate of £60 per night for a twin or double room including breakfast. Spectators are welcome at the venue and there will be no charge for access or parking. Hospitality suites in the main grandstand opposite the pits are available if you wish to entertain guests or watch in style.
