I'm trying to connect up my tripmeter....+ to + .... - to ground... I have tried using the battery tray as a ground but this didn't seem to work.
Many of the bolts ive come across in the front boot are rusted solid so tricky to undo to get a wire underneath without wrecking the nut...
any suggestions for a good grounding point i can use in this area or is there a problem if I just connect it up to the negative terminal on the battery?
If your ground return (-ve) wire can be brought to the battery terminal neatly, clipped in so its not going to fatigue break, then termination made correctly on the clamp is good to go... every where else in the circuit is a slight degradation from that point anyway. Trust me I'm a recent escapee...
... A diamond is only a piece of coal that did well under pressure... PRV afflicted, may be I need to squeeze harder!!!!
