GTA Turbo Alternator and bits

Postby Martin Farley » Sun Mar 20, 2011 7:21 pm

First of all still alive and kicking :D , just getting the car ready, need a new alternator, also need some clips that retain the windscreen wiper blade drive covers, and a door actuator mechanism is fine just need the black box, one on the car works but has its moments.

Academic now, but that's for a new one, not exchange remanufactured. Still more than 60 quid tho!

Martin, suggest you post it up in the members section. I take it was bearing failure on your old one, or was it electrical as well? Regulators do go, pretty much like other electronic components, but if it was a diode pack as Simon had, then it's worth checking your battery and all power connections as there will be a reason for fubar diode pack. Just a quick thought
