all isurance has gone up my cheap to insure spider is above £500 now.... :shock:

i feel like it needs a claim so i can sell the repairer the parts to fix it and make a few quid back! :evil:

My spider insurance just renewed at £279 which includes full UK and European breakdown and £18k total Loss guaranteed value. This did include max 3000 miles per year. Hagerty Insurance with RAOC Discount

There are a few different companies out there.

The embarassing thing is that it is obligatory and still very few of them make a profit :lol:

What doesn't help is the 1500 whip-lash claims aplications every day...even though a one or two (hundred) of them are genuine :x

Just had a new quote if I insure 5 cars it's £810 but when I add another it goes down to £360..... I knew it would pay to have all these cars. :wink:

I had an accident in 2006 and settled for £7,000. But further along the line I now suffer with my back all the time now.

I would ask for at least 3 x that amount and it still would not cover the damage done TBH
