How Many Alpines Left?

Postby BIG_MVS » Wed Jun 08, 2011 4:12 pm

Spotted this on the 21 TOC. Not only does it list road legal cars it also lists the SORN cars when you click onto the model name:

http://howmanyleft.co.uk/

Looks like there were 27 610's on the road and 15 Sorn'd, so 42 in total which sounds about right...

You can also see how the marque has fared over the years which is interesting. In 1995 there were 56 610's so we have lost 14 over the years.

GTA's

182 close of play 2007, now down to 170 ish by the end of 2010

Still not as bad as the Renault 18 Turbo, 645 still hanging around in 1994, there are now only 7 left

Accurate figures?

Postby si21 » Thu Jun 09, 2011 2:46 pm

I don't know how reliable or accurate those figures are as I know of at least 3 Le Mans on the road here and saw another at Prescot It think with CAR and then theres the Le Mans in Brighton which I know was taxed insured and on the road not too many moons ago.

Not sure about the Le Mans in the Emerald Isle.

Sorry, didn't see the caps lock.

Andy, I wasn't aware that a Le Mans car had been imported from Singapore, I do however know of an A610 and a GTA Mille Miles that were imported with very low mileages.

The A610 had 300 miles on the clock and the GTA had about 400 miles.

See attached photos ...

Postby si21 » Fri Jun 10, 2011 2:22 pm

Check owt da bling....Levar in da 610 do innit Gangster

Not sure if the blue interior is little too much for my liking, it would be better if they had co-ordinated it with something else in the car.

Mint externally though...not even run in

Now I'm not so sure.... Was it an A610 I was thinking of.... I thought it was LeMans Burgundy...... Let me think about that one.!
