The good old days ?

Postby Tony Smith » Thu Jun 16, 2011 5:55 am

Whether you liked them or not I think the forum was a more entertaining place with Dave G and Peter G, I miss the bun fights.

I've heard a well modded Gordini Turbo will outpace a GTA no problem

Yes it's more of a "Technical" forum and meetings board nowadays, which is fine. It is a shame that there is no Banter or Humour of any sort.

It's not from want of trying but my quip's and look a likes go down like lead baloons on here

I bet Dave and Peter G still look in from time to time, be nice to hear how Peter is getting on with his new car?

BTW 610's are quicker than GTA's

I'm sure you lot could recreate one !

I use the search facility from time to time and frequently come across DG input. Emailed him the other day in fact, enquirying on replacement carpet material / carpet kit for GTA , but no such luck.

I recon it's because the cars were younger in the DG days and Renault still made spares, now it's so long since they worked that we don't know if anything is quicker than them...... :D Apart from a Clio of course.

Surely any 'modded' Gordini will outstrip a standard GTA!

What about a modded GTA against a modded Gordini :?:
