Well done and here's to another of these fantastic cars being great again.
It sounds like a not too difficult restoration - here's hoping so.
All the best!!

We have all moved on, my blue car now lives in portsmouth, the two yellow cars from Chester (yes, he had two! An Atmo and a Turbo) now live in Australia, the red Wrexham car was stolen and written off, and the red one from the Wirral now lives in yorkshire.
Here are two pics of your car that I took when we had a meeting near Oulton park.

Wonder how long it will take for this one to disappear on a ferry over to France as I doubt there will be many English takers at that price.turbodog wrote:Welcome back to the fold, and I hope you get your car up and running soon so that you can come to one of the meets. My advice is to get the car roadworthy asap. Everything else will be a lot easier once you know you have a car that is driving.
I hope that we start to see the end of GTAs being scrapped or blinged up.

That's bizarre isn't it? To be honest I think that will sell even at that price, it's got a lovely mileage on it and the in the best colour With only about 40 left in the UK and one coming up for sale every 6-12 months, if you want one your gonna have to pay for it.
