Plates Stolen

Postby si21 » Wed Jun 29, 2011 8:54 am

What kind of idiot scumbag steals plates off a reasonably rare car?

The number plates have been stolen from "Christine"

How do they think in London the old bill wont pick them up as the wrong reg for the type of vehicle :?: :!:

I hope they get caught the Police have already been advised.

What a pain in the derriere!

I just saw something on TV about how this is becoming very common. Some forces are recommending using some bonding agent or something on the screws that fix the plate, so that the plate shatters when someone pulls it off. Don't really fancy that approach on my GTA - my plates are stuck on - it's bad enough trying to undo bolts and screws on it that are supposed to come undone.

I did think that maybe I should get some Torx or Allen screws to fit the plates. The toffee-fingered swines are unlikely to carry that sort of screw driver with them.
