Stunned Monkey, After a conversation with you some time ago...I got Demon Tweeks to make me up a Goodridge hose using M12x1 banjo,s..the hose installed no problems..but after bleeding my system & changing gear 20 times the system is full off air again..bleed again everything ok. for another 20 gear changes then same again...any idea,s...the complete system & both cylinders are new...I,m at a complete loss...there are no leaks visable..nothing.

the main hose is a high pressure line - if it had any leaks, fluid would end up on the floor rather than air getting in. My bet would be the master cylinder.

Martin, The master is new & install as received from Simon,s...can,t see how it,s drawing air & yet there are no signes of leakage inside, from the slave or under the car.

Yes. They are no longer available from France because we have them all here. They are RHD specific.

Steve: Would you let me have a line to have copied in stainless?

Have you fitted all new seals? (the little plastic rubber washers that go on the pipes first)?

Steven, Using a stainless Goodridge hose there is no need for the little rubber ring & washer before the nut...it,s straight into a turbo slave with a M12 banjo bolt...can you check the length off a RHD hose, it should be the same as a LHD..or maybe a little longer...LHD is 3m 250mm...or 10ft. 8ins...if so add it to my 2 hoses & send ASAP.
Martin, The slave is also a brand new turbo cylinder...but bleeding as per a GTA....this only started happening after I fitted the SS. hose.

I don't think going back to plastic would be the solution then as it sounds like you already have a better set up.

Steven, While I agree ,the SS. system is better...I,ve just finished rebuilding my 24vl. & fitted the 6 Toyota throttle bodies & with the help of Martin Faulks ecu, she,s running perfectly & passed her mot. I WANT TO DRIVE MY CAR..& untill I can resolve the current problem, I CAN,T...I want to have the option of being able to revert back to the plastic system, when I ordered the hose it was only 27 euro..so for a couple of quid I can get it fixed...please measure the length of the rhd. hose & if long enough give me a price for the 2 hoses & the clutch hose..does it come with the nipples installed...my friend who has more experience than I do, says she,s much faster than a 610.

Eddie, really pleased to hear that you are a member. I probably did read your other post, but forgot. I'm looking forward to seeing your car too. Will you be doing any motorsport in it?
