Have you read the write up about John D in Smokey's book? Interesting...

Nope, not read that but found reference to it in the DeLorean Mailing List archives. Apparently the audiobook was read by JZD

You call yourself an aficionado.. haha+ Yes Mr. Yunik, they were good buddies, when John was a young engineer scaling the ranks in Detroit.. wheelin 'n' dealin... haven't you studied his hot cycle engine.... now that's what the DeLorean should have had in the back .. cooking... :lol: :lol:

Er.... yers.... I have spent a lot of hours on various heat engines. Not entirely sure of the point of pre-heating the combustion gases *before* they enter the combustion chamber unless you can then see the temperature fall below that on the exhaust... but I live to learn!
